BEGINNERS - Year 1

As a beginner in our full-time course, our expert coaches will teach you how to develop a solid foundation for building and discovering various versions of yourself. This foundation allows you to explore different characters through a series of exercises, helping you build the imaginary world in which your character lives.

INTERMEDIATE - Year 2

For intermediate students, we progress to the next level of the Meisner Technique. This stage takes you deeper into your relationship and connections with characters, discovering how they interact with each other. It's all about exploring the inner life of your character—how they think and respond—and building connections with people, places, things, and events.

ADVANCED - Year 3

For experienced actors, we delve deeper into the teachings of Sanford Meisner and we use his ethos to really bring your performance to life. This stage is all about fully exploring the nuances of the dialogue and really understanding your character. Not only on a physical level, but an emotional and spiritual level too.

Our course delivers a high standard of professional training in the craft of acting, telling stories through performance, as well as the technical aspects of performing for the stage and screen.

The structure of the classes allows students to focus on combining the elements of their acting technique and storytelling techniques for stage and screen performance. 

The full-time acting course is broken into four core subjects

  • Acting Technique
    Develop the craft of acting.
  • Scene Study
    Use the craft of acting to tell stories through performance.
  • Character
    Develop characters by combining Scene Study and Acting Technique.
  • Performance Technique
    Develop the technical performance aspects for the stage and screen.

What's the difference?

The full-time acting course is designed to encourage students to grow into smart, marketable, and strong actors, better preparing them to take their careers into their own hands upon graduation.

  • Includes 4 Meisner classes/week, 3 screen acting classes/week, voice and movement classes and Business of Acting Workshops.
  • A structured schedule with a comprehensive curriculum.
  • Intensive workload with a significant time commitment each week.
  • Requires an audition as part of enrolment application.
  • Predominantly in-studio, with online study combinations available.
  • Enrolment is done on a year by year basis. Total course length is 3 years. Years two and three are invitation only.

The part-time acting course offers flexibility for students who wish to pursue their acting education while managing other commitments.

  • Allows students to select their preferred classes and combinations, with options ranging from 1 to 6 classes per week.
  • Flexible scheduling on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
  • Workload depends on the number of classes chosen by the student.
  • Open to all skill levels without the need for an audition.
  • In-studio classes, with online options available.
  • Enrolment is per term.
