During her ever upwards career trajectory Tasneem played Amina Malik, wife of detective Zane Malick (Don Hany) in three seasons of East West 101. The internationally award-winning miniseries followed a crime unit in Australia working in a post-9/11 world.
She also appeared in a slew of Australian and British dramas including Headstart, Rake, Sky TV's Dream Team, Crownies, Winter, Mako Mermaids, Doctor Doctor, The Commons , and Cleverman.
Some of Tasneem’s latest work includes playing Apinya Surinat in Season 2 of the hit live-action children’s series The Bureau Of Magical Things for Nickelodeon. She also joined the cast of Warner Bros Pictures/Legendary Pictures feature Godzilla Vs Kong, the fourth film in Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse, the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise.
Tasneem has a double major in English and Art History from the University of Sydney, and being of Scottish and Karen descent (Burma) has a keen interest in Burma, refugee issues, and women's rights.
