Luke Ford

Luke Ford is a graduate of The Actors Pulse, who is an in demand actor both nationally and internationally.

Starting off in the industry from a young age, Luke’s Australian TV credits include ‘Breakers’, ‘Water Rats’, ‘Home and Away’, ‘Stingers’, ‘All Saints’, ‘Headland’ and ‘McLeod's Daughters’ (for which he was short listed for a 'Best New Talent' Logie).

Luke is well known in the industry for his roles in some of Australia’s finest film productions including; 2008 AFI winning Australian drama The Black Balloon starring Academy Award Nominee, which Luke won his first AFI for Best Actor in a Supporting Role; he played a supporting role in Kokoda, the most anticipated Australian war film since Mel Gibson's Gallipoli; Luke starred alongside AFI Winner Joel Edgerton, Academy Award Nominee Jackie Weaver and AFI Nominee Guy Pearce in the award winning crime thriller Animal Kingdom; he played a supporting role in the 2011 award winning Australian film Red Dog, which won Best Film at the 2012 AACTA; he starred alongside Vince Colosimo in the Australian drama Face to Face; and Luke was awarded Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 AACTA for his role in the TV drama Power Games.

Luke’s international credits include starring opposite Brendan Fraser and Jet Li in ‘The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor’ with Director Rob Cohen, where Luke played Alex O’Connell – son of Rick O’Connell (Fraser); ‘The Junction Boys’ with Tom Berenger; and ‘Hercules’ with Timothy Dalton and Sean Astin.

Luke is constantly kept busy in the industry, with several productions currently underway.

Luke has been a teacher at The Actor’s Pulse since 2003.
