A gifted and inspired actor, Adam Gibson has been praised for the unique voice he brings to the characters he embodies in his numerous film, television, and commercial appearances.

Growing up on the pristine beaches of the East Coast of Australia, Adam was interested in drama from a young age but deferred his studies after graduating high school to backpack around the world for 5 years.

On returning to Australia, Adam joined The Actors Pulse and undertook a three-year program which he graduated from in December of 2013.

While completing his studies, Adam made his big screen debut in 2012 as Jay Jay in Three Sixty. The film, which tells the story of incompetent criminals embroiled in a kidnapping saga was selected to screen at numerous film festivals across the globe including the prestigious Hollywood Film Festival.


Since his big screen debut, Adam has appeared in various projects including the feature film Skin Deep which won Best Indie Film by AfterEllen and received an honourable mention for Best Narrative Feature at The Austin Film Festival 2014 and a nomination for Best Original Feature Film at the AWGIE Awards in 2015.

Adam appeared on stage at The Street Theatre as part of the cast of Still Seeking Other written by award-winning writer, Monica Zanetti (also an alumni of The Actors Pulse) (should we mention that Monica is an Actors Pulse alumni?). He has also written and directed several short films, including a spec fashion film for designer Camilla whose clothes can be seen on everyone from Oprah to Beyonce.

Southland Films is the filmmaking collaborative Adam co-founded with his friend and fellow actor and The Actors Pulse alumni, Paul Barton It is associated with some of Sydney's brightest young freelance creatives and with a strong mentorship program, made up of industry veterans, Southland Films from strength to strength.
